The owner and lead instructor is Bruce Luedeman MA, EMT, a former Colorado Police Officer, Supervisor, and Academy Trainer. Bruce was also a SWAT Team Supervisor, Hostage Negotiator,  and Field Training Officer Supervisor.  His last tenure was as the Director for the University of Northern Colorado's Center for Law Enforcement Education and Research.  He also served as a staff instructor and member of the cirriculum committee for the Colorado Law Enforcement Training Academy in Golden, Colorado as well as sitting on the board for two other regional law enforcement training academy's.   

Bruce has been a member of the National Speakers Association and listed in "Who's Who in Professional Speaking" and holds a Masters Degree in Criminal Justice Administration.   

Bruce is currently a Missouri Licensed EMT and NRA Pistol, Range Officer, and Personal Protection Instructor.  He is married with two internationally adopted school age children.  His focus in life is time with his family and church activities.  At various times of the year he travels extensively for FEMA as a Security Manager and trainer.  

Having a passion for teaching, Bruce also sometimes uses in class "Buford Bad guy" a life size trauma manikin.  Every effort is made to make the subject topics interesting and as realistic as possible.  Who says  learning has to be boring to be excellant?
